fuubo Joins Claude for Startups: What It Means for the Companies We Work With

fuubo was accepted into Claude for Startups, Anthropic's program for founders building with Claude. Here's what this step means for your company.

A few weeks ago, fuubo was accepted into Claude for Startups, the program Anthropic designed to support early-stage teams building products on Claude. We want to share what this program is and, more importantly, what changes (and what doesn't) for the companies that already work with us.

It's worth starting by clarifying the context, because these are two different things. A few months ago we announced that fuubo is an Anthropic partner, a relationship that gives us direct access to the Claude stack to build secure agents that integrate well into our clients' operations. Claude for Startups doesn't replace that relationship, it complements it. It's a program designed for founders already building on Claude, with concrete benefits such as credits and discounts, offers from other AI-native companies, regular sessions with Anthropic's Applied AI team, and access to ecosystem events.

What changes for the companies we work with

In practice, this program gives us a more direct channel with Anthropic's technical team. When we're designing an agent or working through a complex integration, being able to talk to the people building Claude shortens the distance between a question and a solution. That translates into less trial and error for our clients, and into solutions that make better use of the model's real capabilities, not just the ones documented in a manual.

It also gives us early visibility into where the technology is heading, which helps us make better architecture decisions when we design a solution meant to last, not just to work well in a demo.

That said, something that doesn't change is how we choose the technology for each project. At fuubo we don't bet on a single model provider, we choose the tool based on the use case, the budget, and the security requirements of each client. Claude is, for many of the problems we solve (especially those that require careful reasoning over long documents or decisions with a high security standard), one of the best options available today. But we keep evaluating every project with the same criteria as always, without exclusivity toward any provider.

Why we wanted to share this

We could have kept this recognition as an internal detail, but we prefer to be transparent with the companies that trust us. Programs like this one don't change how we work overnight, but they are one more signal (alongside the projects we've already delivered) that we're investing in understanding the technology deeply, not just using it.

We keep the same focus as always: making AI adoption in your company real, measurable, and not stuck at the pilot stage. If you're interested in talking about how to apply Claude or other models to your operations, let's talk.
