fuubo Named OpenAI Select Partner: Beyond Chatbots, Real Intelligence for Your Operations

fuubo has been recognized as an OpenAI Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network. We explain what this program is, what this status means in practice, and what changes (and what doesn't) for companies in Chile and LATAM working with us on their AI projects.

fuubo has been recognized as an OpenAI Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network, the global program OpenAI launched in June of this year to connect organizations that build, sell, and implement solutions on their models. We want to share what this program is, what this status means in concrete terms, and what changes (and what doesn't) for the companies in Chile and LATAM that work with us.

It's worth starting with the context that makes this recognition meaningful. During the first wave of AI adoption, many companies purchased licenses expecting a productivity transformation and ended up using AI to draft generic emails or stuck in pilots that never reached production. OpenAI's frontier models have moved past that stage: they went from generating text in a conversation to executing complete end-to-end workflows inside a company's real systems. That is the leap this recognition certifies that we know how to put into practice.

What Is the OpenAI Partner Network

OpenAI introduced this program in June 2026 with a 150 million dollar investment, with the goal of certifying 300,000 consultants globally before the end of the year. The structure has three tiers: Select, Advanced, and Elite, each with higher requirements for commercial performance, technical capability, joint work with OpenAI on client projects, and real implementation experience.

Select is the tier granted to partners that completed OpenAI's onboarding requirements and demonstrated verified capability to build, sell, and implement solutions on their models.

What This Status Means for fuubo

In practice, this recognition confirms something we were already doing: implementing AI solutions on OpenAI models with the level of rigor the program requires to formally certify it. It is not a reward for good intentions — it is a status earned by meeting verifiable technical and delivery requirements.

That work focuses on three areas. The first is custom agents and integrations: we connect OpenAI's stack with a company's core systems — ERP, CRM, databases, management tools — so that processes run from start to finish without depending on someone guiding every step. The second is data security and governance: any integration of this kind is built on controlled environments, with each organization's confidential information under access controls that can be audited. The third is guiding the transition from experimentation to concrete returns, helping an isolated project become a solution that actually reduces operational load and accelerates decisions, rather than staying in the pilot phase.

For us, this is a starting point, not an endpoint. The natural path within the program is to keep adding projects and implementations that allow us to advance toward the Advanced and Elite tiers, and to add specialized credentials in areas like AI agents, which is precisely where we are concentrating much of our client work in the region.

What This Means for the Companies That Work With Us

If your company is evaluating implementing AI with us, this status is one more way to verify something we prefer gets proven in the day-to-day work: that we know how to bring OpenAI models to a real use case, with the adoption discipline that requires. Technology is only part of the equation — real change happens when processes are redesigned with the people who will use them in mind, not the other way around.

This recognition does not change how we work with you or the priorities we have today. It is a signal, for those who don't yet know us, that this work is also being verified by the model provider — not just by our own clients.

We continue with the same focus as always: making AI adoption in your company real, measurable, and not stuck at the pilot stage. If you want to talk about how to apply this to your operations, let's talk.
